Director of Operations

Role Summary:

As the Director of Operations at JenEm Agriworks, you will develop and oversee the seamless execution of operational strategies that drive our commitment to excellence. You will lead production scheduling, design and optimize processes, and ensure the highest quality standards in line with our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance productivity.

• Oversee production schedules and ensure alignment with demand forecasts.

• Lead the optimization of processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• Monitor and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in operations, with a focus on agriculture, agro-processing, oil seed processing, animal feed processing or manufacturing.

• Proven expertise in process optimization and supply chain management.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans.

• Lead financial modeling, cost accounting, and forecasting initiatives.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Oversee taxation and audit processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

• Provide strategic financial insights to drive business decisions and growth.

• Foster a strong internal control environment to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CA (Ghana) or CFA preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in financial management, with a background in agriculture or manufacturing industries.
